Liz and the gang have surpassed all my notions about what banking should be, they bring unparalleled customer service to the table. So much that whenever I walk in, I am greeted like good neighbors are. Like friends are. I feel like a PERSON, not an account. They make me want to bank, it's a pleasure and not a chore. I look forward to seeing them. They need a raise and great praise because they have a lifetime customer over in Oakley. And that alone communicates their massive value. When purchasing a car for my daughter, Cinfed came through for me once again. They worked out every detail of the purchase loan right from the dealership lot, including setting up an online account that lets me make my payment transfers easily from my checking account.

What I would love to see this bank do is to notify customers via email whenever there is a transaction on their account. If this service is in place already, good job! When my previous bank refused to cash a corporate paycheck with one of the largest financial institutions, I went to Cinfed off of a members recommendation and without a question they cashed my check for over $2000. My husband and I have been members of Cinfed for over 25 years. When he retired, we had limited involvement with Cinfed since it was very close to our workplace, but not our home. Recently we decided to purchase a new automobile, and contacted Cinfed about an auto loan. Jessica at the Roselawn office was so helpful, and professional, working hard to fill our needs. She even managed to get us a quick Saturday closing because of an out of state family emergency we had. The closing was at a different branch with Kasey, who was also very helpful. Thanks to all involved, these employees deserve recognition! This experience has made us think of using Cinfed for more banking needs, even if there isn't a branch north of the city!

I have been a member of Cinfed Credit Union since 1986 when I started working for IRS. I recently spent a week in the hospital and four weeks in a skilled nursing facility going through rehab. The whole time I was out of commission, I worried about paying my medical bills. Cinfed you took a risk on me and loaned me the money to get those bills paid and with my bad credit, I was shocked that my loan was approved. Thank you Cinfed for being there when I needed you. You are the best financial institution in the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area and I really appreciate everything you have done for me for 28 years. I hope you guys understand that what you are offering are not just loans and accounts but things that mean much more than that, things that keep hope alive, that help people like me cross some difficult bridges between jobs/ studies. I recently moved to Cincinnati. I had a new job but also had some student and personal debt which needed consolidation. Meeting Josh (Joshua Lange) at the Reading Road branch was all that I needed. He made all seem so smooth for me including my application for loan, checking account, balance transfer etc. I was also happily surprised at no loan fee ! Every customer service representation that I have been in contact with has always been very professional and courteous and I believe that I have been to just about every Cinfed Branch in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Ky. I have been a member for over 25 years. I think good service should be recognized. Julie at the Roselawn branch always gives great service with a smile. She is also a very dedicated employee. Cincinnati had a pretty bad winter this month. Julie was there on a lot of those 10 inch days. I know because I am a nurses aid/caregiver and I have to be at work no matter what the weather brings. We've only been members for a little over a month and already feel the difference. I don't want to name names, but let's just say Cinfed is WAY better than our previous institution that rhymes with "Moo.Mess. Mank. (MMM)"
In the short time we have been members, here are a few of the things that have impressed us (sorry if I spell names wrong):
-The personal welcoming and ease of talking to from the first minute by A-Train (Adrianne) in Fort Wright
-The quick response and helpful attitude from Megan when we opened an account the next week for my step-daughter
-The fast call back when I locked myself out of the phone system by Sue.
-The water and pens are nice :)
-Withdrawals from the ATM in $5 increments (sounds small, but is a REALLY big deal)
-The ATM asking for my pin again when I said I wanted another transaction (I thought this was stupid at first until I realized it would potentially protect me in the event that I left my card in the machine like the dork that I am)
-The quick fix when an issue happened with our new Credit Card limit by Megan (again) and Melissa. This was BY FAR the most impressive. They basically said "yes...it's a mistake, but we will fix it by Monday (after we brought it to their attention on Saturday afternoon)
I seriously can't emphasize this last one enough. Part of the reason we left MMM was that they reduced our limit by 90% on a card with no balance right in the middle of a refi we have been hoping to get for nearly 9 years. When we called, they blames Transunion, who blamed MMM, who still blamed TransUnion. Of course, everyone said they were sorry, but nobody was willing to fix it or provide an honest answer. So when this limit thing happened I thought "oh here we go again." BUT then in less than five minutes Melissa, who was working the drive-thru window that day (impressive in itself) said I'll get it fixed on Monday....and then she actually did it.
I'm not very easily impressed. I worked for a large financial firm for almost 7 years (let's call that one "Midelity Minvestments" :) ). I know things work slowly sometimes and nobody likes to admit fault. I don't expect perfection, but I admire when someone is big enough to just say there was a mistake on our end and we will fix it.
I tell everyone I know that they should leave the big banks and come to Cinfed. My only regret in leaving MMM is that we didn't do this sooner. One day I hope to write another note saying "We've been Cinfed members for 40 years and are as happy as we were in June 2013 when we walked into the Fort Wright branch and met with A-Train!!!

Just closed on a Home Equity line of credit loan, and the process couldn't have been any easier. With this I was able to pay off 2 high interest credit cards and deposited the rest into a checking account they I opened with Cinfed that earns 2% APY! The staff at the main office and the Turfway branch were excellent.
Cinfed, thank you for finally allowing me to use Apple IPay. As I told many members be patient Cinfed will get IPay.. I am sure Cinfed is only ensuring it is safe for the members.
What a convenience, as there are times when I don't have cash or even ID (especially when walking my dog) but I am never without my phone. Starbucks here I come!

Recently I tried to locate the Oakley office using google maps. The google directions did not get me close to Cinfed. I called the office and Liz remained on the phone until I reached the destination. A short two weeks later Liz came to my rescue again. I needed some documents notarized by a person possessing a medallion stamp. Liz was in training the entire work day, but she called me and arranged to meet my husband and I after hours to accomplish this task. Cinfed has a great employee in Liz. How many employees today would make the effort and give of their personal time to help a customer? I have been with Cinfed since 1973. Even though I am moving to Florida, Cinfed will remain my primary banking institution. Thanks again Liz, you are the BEST!

Earlier this year my much younger sister passed away and with that many obligations were to be met by my husband and myself ..My sister was survived by a daughter and son. We have since then taken on the responsibility of being legal guardian ,During this new and extensive process we would have need to open an account for the two children under our care. Thru this this whole ordeal I have had the privilege of meeting Emily Snyder (financial service rep) at Cincinnati Oakley Branch. to set up both accounts. Unfortunately SSA received an erroneous phone call stating I had passed away which in turn allowed my account to be needlessly frozen, Because I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Snyder concerning a personal loan, at the beginning of 2018, Mrs Snyder was then able to verify my being alive and well. She was then able to release the funds. .The Cinfed Family is extremely fortunate to have an employee such as Mrs Snyder ,Dealing directly with the public.Her compassion is as high performing as Her knowledge of the products that are available to all Cinfed customers ..Mrs Snyder;s professionalism supersedes my expectation of what could have been a financial disaster. the Cinfed family definitely has the right person in the right place ,in the face of the public. How lucky I am to have Liz Frey managing the office I use! I live in Florida but maintain Cinfed as my main banking office. Everytime I need special help a simple email or call to Liz and it is done! I only wish ONE thing was this easy in Florida. I am closing on a home and Liz helped me manage larger than normal mobile deposits and wiring money in and out of my account. Excellent Customer service and friendly communication in one package. This is why I maintain my account Cinfed for now over 45 years!
