  1. How long does it usually take to get approved for a Cinfed Mastercard?
    • A response on the approval process typically takes one to two business days
  2. Will you pull my credit report before opening a Mastercard account for me?
    • Yes, we must have a new credit report with each application
  3. How do I add an authorized user to my Cinfed Mastercard account?
    • You may stop by one of our branches and complete a form in order to add an authorized user. You also can call to have the form sent to you.
  4. How can I request a credit line increase for my Cinfed Mastercard?
  1. Why do I need to tell you when I'm traveling?
    • Please contact us prior to your trip to prevent our fraud prevention systems from blocking debit and credit card transactions made in other states or outside of your routine purchasing area. If you contact us before your travels, we can note it ahead of time so your transactions will process smoothly. Access our Travel Notification form, here.
  2. Will I be charged any additional fees for using my Cinfed Mastercard overseas?
    • Yes, a 1% conversion fee will be added to any overseas charge on both credit and debit cards.
  3. Can my Cinfed Debit Mastercard be used to rent a car?
    • No, due to security considerations, Cinfed debit cards are not authorized at rental car agencies. A credit card such as a Cinfed Mastercard must be used. Learn more here.
  1. How do I transfer a balance from another credit card to my Cinfed Credit Card?
    1. Simply fill out our balance transfer form at www.cinfed.com/BalanceTransfer and click "submit".
  2. When will a balance transfer post to my account?
    1. The balance transfer will post within 24 hours after it has been submitted.

  1. How do I file a billing dispute regarding my Cinfed Mastercard?
    • You may file a dispute online through Cinfed Digital Banking, or call (513)333-3826 to have a dispute form mailed to you.
  2. How do I report fraud on my Cinfed Mastercard account?
    • Call the lost/stolen line at 1-800-449-7728 as soon as possible if you suspect fraud.
  1. What is the Annual Percentage Rate for my Cinfed Mastercard?
    • You can find your Annual Percentage Rate (APR) on the 2nd page of your monthly credit card statement.
  2. When does interest apply to my Cinfed Mastercard account balance?
    • Interest applies only to your credit card’s outstanding balance at the time your account cycles. Your payment due date is 25 days after the close of each billing cycle. If you pay your entire balance by the due date each month, you aren’t charged interest on your purchases. For cash advance, balance transfer, and convenience check transactions, interest is assessed from the date the transactions post to your account.
  1. How do I report my card lost or stolen?
    • Debit Cards: During business hours, contact Cinfed’s member service line at 513-333-3800. To request an emergency card replacement, contact the Mastercard Assistance Center either toll-free at 1-800-627-8372 or collect at 1-636-722-7111.
    • Credit Cards: Call our lost/stolen line at 1-800-449-7728 or log in to your online credit card account, go to the “Manage Cards” section, and follow the instructions.
  2. How can I get a replacement card?
    • Debit Cards: Call Cinfed’s member service line at 513-333-3800 during business hours. If you notice your card missing after business hours, contact the Mastercard Assistance Center at 1-800-527-7728 and a Mastercard representative will assist you in filing a lost or stolen card report.
    • Credit Cards: You will automatically get a replacement card when the lost/stolen report is submitted. You will receive your new card in 7-10 business days.
