Second Stimulus Payments


The IRS has started to deliver the second round of stimulus payments. If you have questions concerning your payment, eligibility, or timing of your payment, please visit IRS.gov/getmypayment. (Note: Cinfed does not have access to this information).

To see if your direct deposit payment has processed, view your account balance via online banking or our mobile app. The funds will be listed on your account as a deposit and will include "IRS" in the description.


Lobby Access

Due to the continued elevation of COVID 19 cases in our region, our branch lobbies are currently accessible by appointment only. Our drive-thrus, ATMs, and ITMs remain active and available under normal hours of operation. Of course, you can complete transactions any time using our digital services such as Online Banking and the Cinfed Mobile App.

To schedule an appointment, click here. Once you have scheduled, you will then receive an email message that confirms your appointment details. You will also have the option of receiving notification via text. COVID precautions must be followed with any visit to a branch, including wearing a mask, checking your temperature beforehand, and being symptom-free.

Financial Support and Payment Options

The COVID-19 situation has had a tremendous impact on our national and local economy. As a result, we continue to work with members to help get through these challenging times.

We encourage you to schedule an appointment with a member of our team so we can find the best solutions for your situation. You can schedule an appointment online, here.

If you currently have a mortgage with Cinfed and are unable to make your monthly payment, your loan could fall under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act or other alternative measures could be available to you. No fees will be charged for this service. Contact the Mortgage department at (513) 333-3881 to discuss your payment extension options or contact us via email: homeloan@cinfed.com

Security and Fraud Concerns

Fraudsters will take this period of disruption as an opportunity to come up with some new tricks and techniques. With this in mind, be on high alert for fraud: remember that Cinfed, any financial institution or government agency will NOT contact you and ask for your password, PIN, or account information.

Strength and Stability

Thanks to the loyalty and support of our members, Cinfed is currently in the strongest financial condition of our 85-year history. Based on that strength, we are continually working to find the best ways to meet our members' needs - particularly during these challenging times.

Cinfed is a federally insured institution. "Federally insured" means that the safety of deposits is assured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and affirms that the participating credit union is a safe place for members to put their money.

All deposits at federally insured credit unions are protected by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, with deposits insured up to $250,000 per individual depositor. Credit union members have never lost a penny of insured savings at a federally insured credit union.

Cinfed members exceeding the maximum level of coverage provided by NCUA are insured up to an additional $250,000 by the Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI). Cinfed added this benefit to help ensure complete coverage for our members and provide them with peace of mind, knowing their deposits are insured and safe.
