Cinfed Credit Union has announced the creation of Cinfed Investment Services, a new entity to help Cinfed members meet their financial and investment goals.
Cinfed will utilize the services of CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (“CFS”), a brokerage firm which provides non-deposit investment services to credit union members nationwide. The agreement fulfills all regulatory requirements for Cinfed to maintain an independent investment offering. Cinfed members will benefit from receiving personal attention from a locally based provider as well as digital access to their investments through a secure portal and/or mobile app.
To lead the effort, David Bailey has joined Cinfed as a CFS Financial Advisor. A longtime Cincinnati resident, Bailey has current FINRA registrations of 7, 63, and 65, and holds his Life, Health, and Annuity licenses. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, he has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry with several local investment companies.
Cinfed members can schedule an appointment to establish an investment account – or evaluate their current portfolio – in any Cinfed branch location across the Tri-state.
“We’re pleased to introduce this new service for the benefit of our members,” said Jay Sigler, CEO of Cinfed. “Our goal is to make it easier to manage their personal finances by meeting their needs in a coordinated, integrated way. Members can rely on Dave’s knowledge and experience to develop a customized plan that works for them.”
